Sapphire is the gem variety of corundum, one of the hardest natural minerals. It's best known in blue but occurs in many colors; it's September's birthstone.

Currently featuring a double-strand collar necklace of Zambian sapphires with blue topaz and onyx.

Sapphire is traditionally associated with wisdom, loyalty and clarity. It's extremely hard and durable; clean with warm soapy water.
